Biography

I was born in Hong Kong and has been based in the UK since the 1970s. After raising my family, I began developing my artistic career and recently completed a two-year Master of Fine Arts at Cambridge School of Art, UK. I was an artist-in-residence at New Pacific Studio, Mt. Bruce. Collectors of my work can be found in UK, USA, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Panama. My installation 'Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow' won me a shortlisting for the Searle Award Prize in my university. Over the past two years my work has focused on conceptual installation and paper sculpture. Drawing on my bi-cultural background, I am seeking new forms of fusion between Eastern and Western cultures. I subscribe to a vision of 'One Peaceful World' in which all seek to pursue peace, justice and equality.
